This group was built to be a trusted space where governments can share questions and discuss solutions that can help them manage their natural resources for the greatest national benefit. Member countries offer each other help and receive expert advice to develop and implement policies which are context-appropriate, evidence-based, and transition proof.

We believe that reform and change gain better acceptance if led by producer countries. Problems and solutions are defined locally. Governments learn from each other and collaborate to develop practical tools to support policy implementation.
